At the Atlantic Coast Regional Cancer Center, patients often tell us that the care they receive is about more than treatment. It is also about feeling supported and cared for during a difficult time.
Recently, a patient shared a letter with our team reflecting on his experience during six weeks of radiation therapy. He described the many appointments that came with a cancer diagnosis, the relief he felt after speaking with Dr. John Sylvester, and the comfort he found in the care provided by the staff each day. It truly made our day to hear his kind and heartfelt words!
