Atlantic Urology Specialists, in partnership with Conway Medical Center (CMC), is the first facility in the region to offer Aquablation therapy using the new HYDROS™ Robotic System. This upgraded technology uses an advanced, AI-powered platform to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. James Fogarty is using the new system to help men suffering from the frustrating symptoms of an enlarged prostate.
“This latest advancement now that we’re fortunate to have with Conway Medical Center has just started really only in the last several months,” says Dr. Fogary. “Conway Medical Center is very much ‘on the forefront’ of treating now and allowing us to offer the latest advancements for patients with symptoms of enlarged prostate.”

About Aquablation
Traditional surgery often impacts sexual function or continence. Aquablation therapy is designed to avoid these unwanted side effects. It uses real-time ultrasound imaging and robotic precision to remove excess prostate tissue while preserving healthy tissue. The result is significant symptom relief with a lower risk of complications.
Aquablation has been an important treatment option at Atlantic Urology Specialists, but the HYDROS Robotic System is the next generation of the procedure. This new system incorporates FirstAssist AI treatment planning, enhanced imaging, and an upgraded workflow.
